Assessment as Learning
Breathing & Silence Time
We view assessment as a continuous, interactive process that guides children in understanding their growth, strengths, and areas for improvement. By reflecting on their progress, students become active participants in their own learning, developing confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love for discovery.
Recognizing the importance of mental well-being, we incorporate brief moments of mindful breathing and quiet reflection into the daily schedule. These simple yet effective pauses help children reset, improve focus, and cultivate emotional balance in a safe and supportive environment.
Our Class Constitution is a collaborative set of rules and values created by students and teachers together. This shared agreement encourages children to respect one another, embrace their responsibilities, and build a positive classroom community grounded in trust, fairness, and empathy.
Shouldering Responsibilities
We believe in empowering students through active involvement in their learning environment. By taking on age-appropriate tasks and roles—such as helping organize materials or leading group activities—children learn accountability, develop leadership skills, and gain a sense of pride and ownership in their education.
